Festival Friends

Here at the festival office, we thought it was high time that our friends started receiving a few more rewards, by way of a thank you for your continuing support.

The 37th annual festival, 2009, saw the first specific evening concert sponsored by friends of the festival. This meant that our friends received the same treatment as our valued sponsors, with a pre-concert reception, including light refreshments, before the concert, and they also met the Allegri String Quartet.

Also, as the festival launch is such a success, and is so well received by you all, we’ve decided to add your invitation to the launch as a more permanent benefit of your membership.

We’re also hoping to stage quarterly fundraising events, whether it is a meal, concert, or something a little more out of the ordinary, to which all our friends will be invited. You will still receive your priority booking, and up to 20% off the best seats in the house for festival week, as well as your quarterly newsletter, and a personal mention on our website.

Speaking of the website, we're currently constructing a 'members only' area for our Friends to meet and chat with each other, receive exclusive discounts, enter competitions and hear about all of the latest news as it breaks.

In addition to all of this, we have restructured the membership scheme, so that it now consists of three levels, allowing you to choose your benefits, and of course, how much you wish to pay.

With memberships starting from just £25, we’re sure that you’ll find a level of support that suits you.
